For children, seeing a muffin rise in the oven or fruit juice turn into a frozen pop is not only educational and entertaining, it's magical. Most kids love to cook, and they loev to eat what they helped to make even more (yes, including veggies!).

Every recipe contains a step that allows kids to help. These are marked by a special icon and colored print. Most two-year-olds can help by arranging food on a baking sheet or washing produce, for example. Three and four-year-olds can stir or measure ingredients. You are the best judge of what your child can handle!
